Professor Jeffrey V Lazarus is co-director of the Viral and Bacterial Infections Program at the Barcelona Institute of Global Health (ISGlobal), an associate professor at Hospital Clínic, Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona and a senior scholar at CUNY SPH in New York. He is co-chair of board of the HIV Outcomes Beyond Viral Suppression coalition and a member of the EASL Public Health and Policy Committee and the Global NASH Council. He is co-chair of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) NAFLD Summit, Sept 2023, co-chair, Innovations in NAFLD Care (INCBCN), May 2023, and co-chair, NAFLD Summit, Liver Connect, March 2023. He is on the organising committee, Conference on Liver Disease in Africa (COLDA), Tanzania, Autumn 2023 and on the scientific committee of the annual International Viral Hepatitis Elimination conference.
