We carried out an in silico analysis of both PmrA/B proteins including stereochemical structures domains activity amino acids involved and molecular ducking of colistin to these proteins. We found certain amino acids substitutions in certain locations od LPXACD and PmrB play an important role in emergence of colistin resistant isolates of A. baumannii exhibiting high MIC value toward colistin
Stereochemical Trajectories of a Two-Component Regulatory System PmrA/B in a Colistin-Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii Clinical Isolate
A few details exist on Acinetobacter baumannii two-component system PmrA/B protein geometry and amino acids substitutions in domains involved i in strains showing high MIC to colistin.
