More about the Community
The Microbiology Community provides a forum for sharing and discussing the latest ideas and opinions from all areas of microbiology and related research. Through sharing posts, discussion, and images and video content, the Community is a space for members to communicate with each other, and the wider research community, about topics ranging from the fundamental science itself through to policy, society and the day to day life of those working in the field.
It is also a place to learn more about the activities of Springer Nature journals and editorial teams, including the latest updates, policies and practices of the journals.
The Microbiology Community is just one of the Research Communities, a series of community blogs that bring together those interested in a broad area of research, where you can explore the latest research findings, generate discussion with your peers and explore the news and opinions that matter to you. You can join as many Communities as you wish – whether that be just those related to your field of research, or all of those that discuss topics that interest you – that may even be all of them!
As a research publisher, Springer Nature is home to many trusted brands including Springer, Nature Portfolio, BMC, Scientific American, and Palgrave Macmillan. Our Communities bring together the latest research findings, news, opinions and information from across our brands – which is why you will see the Communities are sometimes branded differently. Whichever branding a Community uses, everyone is welcome to join and get involved in the Community.
