Platform for isolation and characterization of SARS-CoV-2 variants enables rapid characterisation of Omicron in Australia
We found that COVID-19 RNA vaccine-induced memory T cells exhibit preserved responses to the Omicron variant. These findings suggest that memory T cells will exert effector functions against the Omicron variant during breakthrough infections among individuals immunized with COVID-19 vaccines.
